The Great Opers: The Romantic Legends Upon Which the Masters of Song Have Founded Their Famous Compositions. Volumes 1, 4, and 5. White cloth over beveled boards, white cloth bindings show some soiling due to age, gold tinted fore edge. Volume 1 has dampstain on lower gutter of spine, affects three tipped in illustrations on lower right hand corner, crease in upper left hand corner of spine on cover, 1 1/2&doublequote; tear on page 16. Volume 4 generally good. Volume 5 has several detached tissues, but they are still present, moisture stain on lower fore edge, does not affect text.
