Interior pages have light, occasional scattered foxing. Endpapers are foxed; a bookplate is on the front pastedown. The first free endpage and the following 2 pages are toned and chipped at the edges. Leather boards are rubbed, scuffed and toned; the corners are chipped and rubbed to the cardboard. The spine is missing, but has been rebound (with the original boards) with library binding; cloth tape has also been applied to the inside hinges. As a result, binding is sound and square.
