This unique band promo photo is signed by Stephen King, as well as Dave Barry, Roy Blount Jr, Kathi Kamen Goldmark (the band?s founder), Greil Marcus, Dave Marsh, Ridley Pearson, Joel Selvin, Amy Tan, and Jerry Peterson (the only professional musician in the mix). They played their first gig in 1992 at the American Booksellers Association in Anaheim California, and just when you thought it couldn?t get any nerdier, that band name is a jab at the publishing world?s phrase for unsold soon to be price-slashed books.
