Signed by the author at half-title page. 40th Anniversary Edition, 1999. Dark gray paper-covered boards with silver-stamped titling to spine, and debossed illustration to front board. Pages are clean and unmarked. Text block has light scuffing to top edge, but is otherwise clean and unmarked. Fore edge is deckled. Boards are clean and bright with light bumping to top edge and corners, and moderate bumping to ends of spine. Binding is tight and square. Dust jacket has light sunning to spine, top corner cut to front flap, and light creasing to ends of spine. DJ is otherwise clean, bright and unmarked. DJ is covered in a protective mylar jacket.
