The first publication of Lord Dunsany's play, "Fame and the Poet" appeared in this August 1919 edition of The Atlantic Monthly. The journal's covers are worn and soiled with chips, tears, rubbing and creasing to edges, corners and spine. The first few pages of the journal are only lightly soiled; "Fame and the Poet" on pages 175-184 is unmarked. Binding is good; all stories, illustrations, and advertisements are clear and bright.
