Writing in pencil and large tear to last free endpaper, last free endpaper is stuck to rear pastedown at lower edge, and scattered soiling to pages throughout particularly to margins; text remains legible. Introduction page is loose, but still holds. Text block is soiled and foxed. Boards have moderate to heavy soiling, dampstain to lower edge of front cover, and bumping, rubbing and light fraying to edges, corners and ends of spine. Binding is sound.
