Navy cloth over boards with gilt particular and decorative lines to spine and debossed publisher's emblem to front board. Pages are clean and unmarked. Text block is heavily foxed at top edge and fore edge, light foxing to lower edge, and fore edge is deckled. Light foxing to fore edge of endpages. Boards are soiled particularly at top edge with rubbing and bumping to corners and ends of spine. Binding is tight and square. Dust jacket is sunned at spine and edges of rear cover, front cover is bright, and rubbing, creasing and light chipping to extremities; top corner cut at front flap. Dust jacket is covered in a protective mylar jacket.
