Black cloth over boards with white particulars to spine and white boat illustration to front board. 1 fold out map, 2 illustrated charts, and one illustrated map are all included and intact. Previous owner's signature to first free endpaper, heavy foxing throughout preface, and light to moderate soiling, foxing and tanning to margins thorughout. Fold out map has light tanning from age, but is otherwise unmarked. Text block is lightly foxed and sunned. Top edge might have once been sprayed black, but is heavily faded. All edges deckled. Boards have sunning to spine and heavy wear to lettering at spine with only some faint white markings still visible, but illustration at front board remains clean and bright. Scuffing from shelf wear to boards, moderate bumping, rubbing and fraying to corners and ends of spine, and some cracking to cloth at ends of spine; slight imperfection to cloth at headcap. Outer hinges have undergone repair. Binding is tight, boards bow slightly inward.
