Quarter black paper over light gray cloth covered boards with gilt particulars and decorations to spine; gilt decoration to front board. Pages are clean and unmarked. Text block is foxed; sunning to fore edge; top edge is soiled and sprayed black but is moderately faded. Light foxing to inner hinges. Boards are lightly soiled at edges and corners; corners and tail of spine bumped. Binding is tight and square. Dust jacket has creasing, rubbing and chipping to edges, corners and ends of spine; moderate chip to headcap; spine is sunned; foxing to edges of flaps.
