First Edition. Beautiful black cloth over boards with white debossed particulars and publisher's emblem to spine. Pages show moderate to heavy tanning particularly to margins, black scuff marks to endpapers, and soiling to top edge of preface and title page. Text block is sunned and lightly to moderately scuffed. Boards are clean and bright with rubbing and chipping to lower edge, corners and ends of spine. Binding is tight, spine is cocked. Dust jacket is lightly soiled with rubbing and creasing to edges; creasing and chipping to corners and headcap of spine; corners cut at flaps. Sunning to spine with moderate chip to tail. Dust jacket is covered in a protective mylar jacket.
