Army green cloth over boards with gilt bands and gilt particulars in black compartment to spine and army green title in black compartment to front board. Pages are clean and unmarked. Endpages have previous owner's signature and stamp to first free endpaper, light foxing to fore edge of front endpages, and soiling to rear endpages. Text block has light foxing to lower edge and fore edge and heavy foxing to top edge. Boards are clean and bright with light bumping and rubbing to corners and ends of spine. Binding is tight and square. Dust jacket is soiled at previous owner's tape repairs at edges, large tear from top edge to center of rear cover, sunning to spine; closed tears and wear to extremities. Previous owner placed an extra page and tape to try and fill the hole at rear cover. Dust jacket is covered in a protective mylar jacket.
