Limited Signed Edition limited to 500 copies of which this is numbered 273. Signed by the author and illustrator at edition description. Quarter navy cloth over textured beige cloth boards with gilt particulars and 5 bands to spine. Housed in publisher's original paper-covered slipcase with gold title plate to front board. Pages are clean and unmarked. Decorative endpapers are clean and unmarked. Text block has light sunning to fore edge and top edge is sprayed gold. Boards are clean and bright with light rubbing to ends of spine, closed tear to headcap, and bumping to corners and ends of spine. Navy bookmarker is attached and intact. Binding is tight and square. Slipcase is torn where front board meets lower edge, has heavy sunning where only a small blue patch remains at rear board, and moderate chipping and rubbing to edges; soiling to fore edge of front board.
