First Edition. Pink cloth over boards with gilt titling and two decorate bands to spine and gilt illustration in gilt rule to front board. Pages and illustrations are clean and unmarked. Text block is lightly sunned, and top edge is gilt with light rubbing to ends. Boards are clean with light sunning to top edge, lower edge of front board, and ends of spine. Light rubbing to corners and moderate bumping with light rubbing to ends of spine. Binding is sound, front inner hinge is cracked after endpapers, but still holds. Spine is slightly cocked. Dust jacket has sunning to spine, but is otherwise bright with creasing to spine edges, light chipping to corners and ends of spine, and creasing from folding to corners of front flap. Two closed tears to top edge and lower edge of front cover, and four very small closed tears to top edge of rear cover. Dust jacket is covered in a protective mylar jacket.
