Signed by the author at first free endpaper. Quarter red imitation leather over navy imitation leather with gilt titling, bands, and gilt illustration in navy compartment to spine, and gilt-debossed title front board. Page 15 dogeared; otherwise, pages are clean and unmarked. Text block has one spot of foxing to fore edge, but is otherwise clean and unamrked. Top edge sprayed gilt with one small red scuff. Boards are clean and bright with light bumping to lower corners and ends of spine, and light rubbing to tail. Binding is tight, front board slightly bowed.
