Brown leather boards with four-raised bands, black illustrations and gilt titling to spine, ornate gilt and black embossed illustration in decorative rule to front board, and gilt debossed rule to rear board. Pages and illustrations are clean and unmarked. Multi-color bookmarker remains attached and intact with wear and soiling to the end. Decorative endpages are clean and unmarked. Text block has light to moderate rubbing and scuffing to gilt. All edges red with gilt overtop. Boards have moderate to heavy scuffing and rubbing particularly to center of rear board, rubbing to raised bands and edges of spine, and moderate rubbing to edges, corners and ends of spine; moderate bumping to corners and slight tearing to leather at front corners. Binding is tight and square.
