Blue cloth over boards with gilt-debossed titling and illustration to spine. Pages have some underlining in red pen to introduction (10-19) and one marking to margin of page 13 and one spot of soiling to fore edge of pages 220-229; otherwise, pages are clean and unmarked. Endpages have light soiling to first and last free endpaper and a few spots of foxing to pastedowns. Text block has heavy scuffing to lower edge, light foxing, and moderate sunning to top edge. Boards are clean and bright with bumping to edges and light wear to extremities and light sunning to spine. Binding is tight and square.
