Two volumes in one. Quarter tan cloth over light tan paper-covered boards with black titling to paper compartment at spine and black ornate illustration to boards. Pages 1-24 and 73-96 are heavily tanned, other pages have light to moderate tanning and moderate scattered foxing, and crease with small chip to top corner of pages 45-132. Endpages have moderate foxing and soiling, frayed thread visible at rear inner hinge, and top corner of last free endpaper torn and stuck to rear pastedown corner. Text block is sunned and soiled with light foxing to fore edge, and scuff marking to fore edge near top corner. Boards have light to moderate soiling to edges, light sunning and foxing to spine, light rubbing to edges and bumping to corners and ends of spine. Binding is tight, spine is cocked. Clear plastic dust jacket is yellowed with light creasing to corners and ends of spine, but is otherwise in very good condition.
